Buenos Aires, 1985.
Buenos Aires, 1985. It's the first anniversary of the death of Alexis Carpenter, the unstable supermodel who died tragically when she was set on fire while closing a runaway show. Lucia L'uccello - Editor-in-Chief of the most important magazine in Buenos Aires - chooses supermodels Eva Lantier and Irene del Lago to honor Alexis on the cover of the anniversary issues dedicated to the famous model. The night before the photo shoot, Alexis's original dresses that were going to be used by the models are stolen. From that moment, members of the important fashion magazine and the agency begin to disappear, one by one, at the hands of a stealthy, sinister female silhouette in a long black leather raincoat. Is someone seeking revenge? Or has Alexis returned from the grave?
Tempus Tormentum
A drifter wanders into a quiet town, seemingly running from his past only to enter an unthinkable nightmare. Drugged, harried, and tormented by a trio of masked killers, the drifter is forced to confront his inner darkness in hopes of finding an escape.
"This is David Lynch 2017, if he was heavily influenced by shrooms and vodka." - Wicked Channel
"Tempus Tormentum is it's very own creature for sure: On the surface, it's a very tense piece of survival horror, but the longer it goes, the more the audience gets sucked into the weird world of the movie where the line between reality and nightmare becomes fuzzier and fuzzier, where logic and reason don't necessarily prevail, and where the audience is thus kept on the edge of their seats, guessing." - Search my Trash
"Astute viewers will make comparisons to The Most Dangerous Game and Rob Zombie's 31, however, the surreal aspects that Rewucki weaves into the narrative conjure memories of Lynch's Lost Highway and even his masterpiece Inland Empire. This is a haunted man's sojourn through an endless nightmare that is constructed from a toxic blending of external demons and his own desperate design." - Spoiler free Movie Sleuth
